2023 Festival

Performers: Marína Ósk Þórólfsdóttir jazzsinger, Domenico Codispoti piano, Bryndís Halla Gylfadóttir cello, Hávarður Tryggvason contrabass og Laufey Sigurðardóttir violin. 

In Skjólbrekka on Epiphany April 6, arrangements by Þórður Magnússon of well-known Icelandic songs will be performed. A piano trio by Grieg and a duo for cello and double bass by Rossini will also be performed.                                                              

On Good Friday, April 7 in Reykjahlíðar Church, a variety of music that commemorates the day and the church will be played.

Music performers at the 2023 festival are Marína Ósk Þórólfsdóttir jazz singer, Italian pianist Domenico Codispoti, Bryndís Halla Gylfadóttir cello, Hávarður Tryggvason double bass and Laufey Sigurðardóttir violinist, who is also the organizer of the project.

The three last mentioned are all permanent players with the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra.
